José Andrés Ponders the History of Ketchup

What could possibly be more American than a James Beard-winning man from Spain telling a public radio host about his pop-up restaurant that examines "exactly what America is, related to food" and cooking?

In a recent interview, DC chef José Andrés tells radio host Kojo Nnamdi about his forthcoming six-month restaurant, America Eats Tavern, operating alongside an upcoming food exhibit at the National Archives. Andres says he wants people to stop taking their food lightly and start asking questions like "why are you the ketchup I'm eating today," and "why are we eating eggs benedict for breakfast."
