Google Chefs Turn Caterers

Gastronaut-WSJ.jpgTwo former Google chefs have formed a fast-growing catering company, Gastronaut, that delivers lunches of house-made duck prosciutto or even vegan fare to tech companies around the Bay Area. These fancy meals are part of a slate of perks, including on-site massage and yoga instruction, that companies use to attract employees in this supposedly rough economy. One would-be client says the waitlist for booking Gastronaut is two months long. [WSJ]
