Adrià: elBulli Film to Be Ratatouille Meets The Social Network

The Telegraph has more details on the elBulli movie based on Lisa Abend's book The Sorcerer's Apprentices: the project reportedly has a budget of $40 million and filming could start before the end of the year. Adrià said, "It will be something between The Social Network and Ratatouille," which is kind of an odd combination. So like a cartoon about restaurants written by Aaron Sorkin?

As Abend told us last month, it will be shot in the restaurant after it closes and will use actors alongside actual chefs. Prediction: the "I Ate Prop Food From the Set of the elBulli Movie Piece" will become the new "I Ate at elBulli Piece." (The Telgraph also ran one of those today.)
