That drumbeat you hear? Our armies, bringing more Eater regional expansion to lands far and near. In fact, top-level sources at Eater HQ can now reveal our next launch cities, slated to drop sometime in mid 2011: Dallas, Atlanta, and New Orleans.
Just for fun, we're loosely terming this spree "Eater's Southern Swing." Which means now is the time for the editors who will make the magic happen to step forward onto the dancefloor. Intrigued? Read on.
Eater is looking to hire local residents in the Dallas, Atlanta, and New Orleans areas who are mainlined into the soul of their respective city's dining scene to take on the job. This is a freelance gig with commensurate pay; you'll be able to work from anywhere you want so long as it keeps your ear close to ground for good restaurant and nightlife intel. If you think you fit the bill, drop an email to email@example.com with a brief description about yourself and a paragraph or two about why you're interested in the job. If you've got a blog, please include a link to it as well. No resumes, please. If we like what we see, we'll be in touch quickly.
In addition, our sister real estate site Curbed is also looking for editors in all three of those cities; our sister shopping and retail site Racked is looking for a Dallas editor.
Thanks. And away we go.
