Flavor Flav Pulls His Name From Fried Chicken Restaurant

Like a deep-fried mirage, Flavor Flav's Clinton, Iowa fried chicken restaurant was there one minute, gone the next: the rapper/reality show host is pulling out of his licensing agreement for Flav's Fried Chicken, and the restaurant is shutting down a mere four months after opening. There were rumors that employee checks were bouncing, and Flav claims he found some potato salad there in early April that expired in late February.

But don't worry, this isn't the last of your opportunities to sample Flav's secret recipe: he just signed a deal to open the presumably flavorful Flavor Flav's House Of Flavor at the The Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The complex, which is set to open May 30, will include a bar, a Flavor Flav memorabilia shop, a recording studio, and, yes, a fried chicken restaurant.
