The FDA Won't Require Movie Theaters to Post Calories

New, 2 comments

Hey, so you know how the FDA is going to require restaurants and all kinds of other food businesses to post calorie counts where customers can see them?

Yeah, that won't apply to movie theaters; apparently the movie industry has been lobbying for exemption because it "relies heavily on income from theater food sales." Because restaurants don't rely heavily on income from food sales? Anyway, the FDA is looking for feedback on the rules, so who knows if this one will stick.
