So on Friday the cheftestapants from Top Chef All-Stars gathered in New York to shoot the reunion episode. And people who attended, as is this the custom these days, posted photos of the event on the internet, including Tom Colicchio, Padma Lakshmi, and Casey Thompson.

Multiple people emailed in with their theories — based purely on past season's reunion episode seating assignments — of who the winner might be. Was it Richard Blais, Antonia Lofaso, Carla Hall, or Michael Isabella?

Because Eater is an enterprise, scientific in nature, we pulled up photos from the reunion episodes of seasons three through seven (hit the slideshow above). And there's no real pattern, except (zomg) that the winners of seasons four, six, and seven all sat second from the right. If you want to call that a model, then logically Carla Hall is the winner. We entered the data into the patented Eater Spoileromatic^TM, and it read: Inconclusive.
