Bid on a Charm City Cakes/Ace of Cakes Charity Auction

Cake maker/JBF nominee/TV star/ice cream man Duff Goldman and his Charm City Cakes are doing a cake auction on eBay with 100% of the proceeds going to the Red Cross to assist with relief efforts in Japan.

According to the eBay page, the auction is for "one custom-made, completely personalized cake" which is maybe a good deal since they have a notorious wait list. The auction includes a design consultation at Charm City Cakes Studio (either Baltimore or Los Angeles).

Other things to note: "There is a 50 person maximum servings on the cake. Delivery is included, provided the delivery location is within six (6) hours of Baltimore or Los Angeles... Charm City Cakes cannot guarantee the cake will be delivered by any particular member of our staff, but we will sure as heck try."

The current bid is $1,826; Bidding ends on April 3.
