Bill Buford's Heat Gets a Film Deal

It's official (or more official than before): Heat: An Amateur's Adventures as Kitchen Slave, Line Cook, Pasta-Maker, and Apprentice to a Dante-Quoting Butcher in Tuscany, Bill Buford's 2006 book about getting yelled at in various kitchens including Mario Batali's Babbo, has a film deal.

Producer (and sister to Beastie Boy Adam Horovitz AKA King AdRock) Rachael Horovitz and screenwriter Stan Chervin, both of the upcoming film Moneyball, optioned the rights to the book. No other details are available as yet, but we've got some opinions about casting if they need some suggestions.
