The latest chain to jump on the food truck trend is Jack in the Box, which is about to launch what they're calling the "Munchie Mobile" in Southern California. Why? A spokeswoman said the truck is about "really giving our customers what they are asking for, and if they want the truck at their wedding, we will be there." How romantic! The truck is starting out in San Diego before heading up to Los Angeles and Orange County next month.
Also: The van is decorated with art "inspired by 1970s van art" and features a rather impressive shirtless Jack in the Box mascot driving a chariot pulled by tiger and a polar bear. Yes, really.
