The San Francisco ice cream shop that brought the world creations like Hot Mess (vanilla ice cream, butterscotch, bananas, marshmallow fluff) and Secret Breakfast (cornflakes and bourbon) is producing a cookbook: The Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream Book will be the collaborative effort of Slocombe owners Jake Godby and Sean Vahey and Chronicle writer/former Eater editor Paolo Lucchesi. It will combine ice cream recipes with stories about the business and should be out before the end of the year. [SFoodie via -ESF-]
