Farm-to-Table-to-Closet Fashion

farm-to-table-to-closet-150.jpgIs "farm-to-table-to-closet" about to become a trend for both the restaurant and fashion world? Marlow & Sons in Brooklyn is selling tote bags made from the leather of the cows they serve for $300-$400, and apparently they're in high demand. Designer Kate Huling says it's about the "idea that 'It's my responsibility. I eat those animals so much -- I need to participate in this whole cycle.'" They also make belts, footballs, and wallets.
