The quest for America's Best Hot Dog is over. After sampling 64 franks across the country and eliminating them one by one, March Madness style, Every Day With Rachael Ray and Serious Eats have determined that Gene & Jude's outside of Chicago makes the best hot dog in all the land (Warning: PDF). What's so special about Gene & Jude's? They put french fries on top of their Chicago-style dogs, and have been since 1946.
