Apparently giving away 10 million free tacos wasn't enough to get ungrateful Americans to believe Taco Bell's taco filling is actually 88% beef: the fast food chain is now offering their beef-laden Crunchwrap Supreme for 88 cents (normally $2.39). Both deals are attempts to do damage control after a lawsuit claimed the filling was in fact 36%.
Not only that, but in the ad below, they enlist Taco Bell employees to promote the deal. We guess because they would be the ones most familiar with what goes into the food? The deal runs through March 5, but why not go with 100% beef and charge $1 instead?
