Rush Limbaugh's Michelle Obama Rant Was "Below the Belt"

New, 12 comments

Rush Limbaugh is shocked (shocked!) that people think his comments that Michelle Obama is a big, fat hypocrite were in any way untoward. Limbaugh responded to criticism that his comments were "below the belt" by criticizing the First Lady's style: "Isn't just about everything about her below the belt when you look at the fashion sense she has?" Oh, okay, we see what you did there, because Obama often wears dresses with belts. The full quote:

"These were highly civil comments for crying out loud. I mean, people are going nuts. USA Today, the Politico. And some people were suggesting that my comments were below the belt. Well, take a look at some pictures. Given where she wears her belts. I mean, she wears them high up there around the bust line. Isn’t just about everything about her below the belt when you look at the fashion sense she has?"

We had no idea you were so into fashion, Rush!
