During a live chat, a reader asked Washington Post restaurant critic Tom Sietsema "How much do spend on restaurant meals each year?" His answer: "Personally and professionally? I'd guess about $70,000 or so." We're assuming that number includes meals for Sietsema's guests when he dines out for reviewing purposes — and the number isn't necessarily surprising or anything — but still, it's a lot of money.
