Hitting the newsstands today is the Gourmet Italian Kitchen "magazine" that recycles 82 recipes from the ghosts of Gourmet past. The new things: original photography, "three regionally inspired Italian menus," and "wine pairings by Belinda Chang, Wine Director at New York City's The Modern."
Will it not be so "Italian" as the earlier "Quick Kitchen" wasn't so "quick"? It'll cost you $10.99 ($12.98 online) to find out.
But if you're feeling nostalgic for the old Gourmet, there's the pretty blog The Way We Ate that cooks recipes out of vintage issues of the magazine.
