Mario Batali has acquired a property in the Saugatuck area of Westport, Connecticut where he plans on opening a location of his Tarry Lodge Enoteca and Pizzeria. There's already a Tarry Lodge in Port Chester, New York which is a Certified Green Restaurant, meaning no styrofoam, no bottled water, and the use of local, sustainable ingredients. Presumably the second location will follow suit? In any case, they plan on using the existing space with the possible addition of a brick oven and some garage doors, and are looking to open in May or June.
