Ramen at Tsujita L.A.; Grant Achatz's Childhood Menu

Here are the end of week reviews: Jonathan Gold checks out what all the "noodlerati" are going on about at Tsujita L.A. in Los Angeles. Phil Vettel explores the "Proustian food journey" that is Grant Achatz's Childhood menu at Next, which he says keeps from "veering into Carrot Top territory [because], independent of their memory-nudging purpose, the dishes work." Similarly, Mike Sula was "gobsmacked" by the same menu.
