The family of a Miami man who died shortly after a flight from Barcelona to New York is suing American Airlines for serving contaminated food. The man allegedly died from being poisoned by Clostridium perfringens bacteria and his wife and daughter are asking for over $1 million for the airline's failure "to properly maintain or prepare the food."
