The good people of San Francisco will continue to be held at the mercy of their toy-obsessed children, despite the fact that the so-called Happy Meal Ban goes into effect today. Following in McDonald's footsteps, Burger King has elected to use a loophole in the ban that will allow them to continue selling toys with kids meals as an optional ten cent upgrade. Unlike McDonald's, who will donate the extra ten cents to their Ronald McDonald House charity, Burger King hasn't decided what to spend the money on yet. Go on, upgrade to the actual, non-cardboard crowns.
