Deer 'Blasts' Into a Taco Restaurant, Local News Rejoices

What happens in Alpharetta, Georgia when a deer runs into a taco shop? The local news team has a field day. There have been some very dedicated local food reporters — Eric Hanson of KCCI covering the Des Moines state fair comes to mind — but Matt Pearl and his team at WXIA in Atlanta did some fantastic work with this one, sound effects and all. Apparently a deer really wanted to hang out in Taco Mac — a chain with 28 locations in Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina that proclaims to be one of the "best places to drink beer, watch a game, and get the southeast's original Buffalo-style chicken wings." Said Pearl, with all the gravitas a local news leader might deliver: "The Taco Mac, it's open again. No different than before, except with a wooden board, where a glass pane used to stand."
