Here are the mid-week reviews: Temporary New York Times restaurant critic Eric Asimov keeps on reviewing after the announcement that dining editor Pete Wells will become Sam Sifton's permanent replacement; this week Asimov gives three stars to Sushi Yasuda. Michael Bauer and Jonathan Kauffman both try out W Hotel concept Trace in San Francisco, with the middling results.
