All hail Pete Wells, who has been named Sam Sifton's successor as the New York Times restaurant critic. It seems the newspaper has already started removing photos of Wells, who is currently the dining section editor, from the website. She is an intrepid restaurant diner, and a viewer of an assortment of food shows." [-ENY-, NYT]
