marchesi-mcdo.jpgGualtiero Marchesi — considered in some quarters to be the founder of modern Italian cuisine (and the first chef in Italy to get three Michelin stars) — has entered into an unlikely partnership: with McDonald's. Available for a limited time, he has created two "refined" hamburgers and a Tiramisu for McDonald's in Italy. "I simply asked what and where young people were going to eat," said Marchesi. "They were very simple questions which led to my decision to team up with McDonald's." [ANSA]
