Is there a best way to cook a meatball? (Answer: not really.) How important is the quality of the bread crumbs you use? (Answer: very important.) What does one serve along with meatballs? (Answer: All kinds of things! But also ice cream sandwiches.)

The book chronicles the story of New York meatballeria The Meatball Shop and the meaty spheres they produce. Also included: a good number of intriguing side dishes as well as some general rules for life, including the Ten Commandments of Sandwiches. Pro tip: build the sandwich to fit in your mouth.
