Bruni on Romera

2011_10_romerathumb.jpgFormer New York Times restaurant critic Frank Bruni does his best Andy Rooney impersonation in a writeup of Romera, Dr. Miguel Sánchez Romera's highly conceptual New York restaurant: "It’s such a florid demonstration of just how much culinary vanity we’ve encouraged and pretension we’ve unleashed." Also, "I felt like a cheese. An herbed, flowered, pampered, bamboozled cheese." [NYT]
