Diners, Drive-Ins and Disasters

fieri-disaster.jpgMinneapolis' City Pages has the latest in the acrimonious saga of Guy Fieri and producer David Page. Both parties are in damage control mode, responding to the paper's jaw-dropping feature in which Page slings accusations about Fieri, including homophobia and inappropriate boob-ogling. Page lodged a series of complaints about perceived inaccuracies in the article, including the reporter's observation that he "stomps" through his office. It seems he prefers the word "shuffle." City Pages lays bare both sides' spin efforts, and follows up with a former Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives field producer for more details on "what it was like to break the news of a guest's gayness to Fieri."
