BBQ Restaurant Demands Redemption

wilbur-king.jpgThe owner of a barbecue restaurant criticized by Gov. Rick Perry back in 1992 wants the presidential candidate to make amends. Back then, Perry compared the pulled pork from King's Restaurant in Kinston, North Carolina, to roadkill, a comment recently resurrected in the media. Owner Wilbur King wrote a letter to Perry commenting on his lackluster poll numbers and saying "your comments about Eastern North Carolina might be (in part) to blame." He invited Perry back to re-sample and redeem himself. [WNCT]
