Are you ready for Top Chef Magazine? It had been rumored in the past, but now it looks like it's actually happening.
According to Adweek, Food & Wine has announced that the upcoming January issue will feature a 24-page advertorial section on the show that will "center on various aspects of the show's contestants."
Expect pages upon pages of fauxhawks and Glad bags.
Oh good, Tiger Beat for cheftestapants. So like advice on how to deal with the pressures of trying to make healthy tailgating food with your hands tied behind your back or whatever? Or will it just be Fabio bitching about cilantro all the time?
And there's more: if the section is successful (i.e. if it sells lots and lots of advertising), Food & Wine will consider running the section quarterly or even producing a special Top Chef issue every year. It's all Top Chef all the time! What's next, Top Chef breakfast cereal?
