Grant Achatz Has a Strawberry Shortcake Lunchbox

Above, a service piece for Grant Achatz's upcoming Childhood menu at his Chicago restaurant, Next. A bit different from the antique duck press he got for the Escoffier menu. Achatz told Eater Chicago the restaurant is going to serve a course in a lunchbox" and that Achatz has been scouring eBay and antique shops for vintage lunchboxes featuring things like Superheroes and Wonder Woman." It will give people "an insight of what it was like to grow up in the Midwest in the '70s and '80s."
