Food Truck Owners Were Told Porn Was a "Romantic" Film

New, 2 comments

Turns out the upcoming adult film The Flying Pink Pig, which puts porn stars in a food truck setting, doesn't just look remarkably like Los Angeles food truck The Flying Pig: it is The Flying Pig. According (link NSFW) to the film's director Erica McLean, she noticed the truck one day and just pulled over and asked to use the truck. McLean said, "They said Yes. They were very nice."

Joe Kim, the owner of The Flying Pig, tells Eater LA a slightly different story:

"I was told by my ex-employee that the shooting was about a romantic movie. I never spoke with them and was just misled by wrong info. I need to discuss this matter with my lawyer asap. Hopefully I can find a way to minimize the damage on our reputation." Looks like the intended sequels — the plan is for The Flying Pink Pig to be a trilogy — will probably have to find a different location.

If there's a positive, we find out from actress Nicki Hunter that sanitation was a priority: "Naturally, we remove the food and wipe down all surfaces."
