Daily Show correspondent Aasif Mandvi investigates San Francisco's so-called Happy Meal Ban, in which fast food meals would be required to be less than 600 calories and contain fruits or vegetables in order to come with a free toy. Mandvi talks to various city representatives on both sides of the issue, including Mayor Gavin Newsom, but perhaps the best summary of the debate comes from one of the children he interviews: "It is the worst thing that they have ever done and if they don't start giving out the toys? Good. Bye."
Mandvi then introduces them to the "Crappy Meal," which is decorated with the periodic table of elements and instructions for giving CPR, and comes with an action figure of Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius.
