Wine Enthusiast magazine held its 11th annual Wine Star Awards ceremony on Monday night: William Foley, of Foley Family Wines got Man of the Year. Winemaker of the Year went to Genevieve Janssens of Robert Mondavi Winery. American Winery of the Year was awarded to J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines. Tyler Florence was also a winner — he said: “It’s is a big honor for us to be named Restaurateur of the Year and we plan to use this as the stamp that says, ‘Yes you can do this’ as we take our next leap forward."
