Chef Thomas Keller is planning a pop-up restaurant inside the London department store Harrods for ten days this coming November. The yet un-named restaurant will be an "incarnation of both his US restaurants Per Se in New York and the French Laundry in California."
Keller told Big Hospitality: "We're trying to do a promotion with Harrods so that would be kind of fun. The UK and certainly London has always been something that's been available to me but I just haven't taken the opportunity yet." He has no current plans to open a permanent restaurant in London, however. "I'm really happy with the restaurants I have now. For us it's a three year process to open a restaurant so I'm in no rush."
