The Mystery Unguent at the Bocuse D'Or

You might now know this — I didn't — but the Bocuse d'Or is part of a larger hospitality trade show called Sirha. On all the Sirha posters, there's this good looking lady licking something off of her hand in a very suggestive manner. It's gooey and purple. Wine, I thought, perhaps. Nah, it's too viscous. Grape jelly? Nah, not viscous enough. Something more louche, then. Nah, this is France, women might not shave their armpits (hint: they do) but I'm pretty sure men still come clean. (Woah.) Then I read the small print: It's trends. Trends are purple and slimy. Mystery solved.
