Despite dealing with a weak pound, lots of British chefs are opening new restaurants this winter. Most notably, Heston Blumenthal's Dinner opens later this month (complete with a "giant glass udder chandelier"), Fergus Henderson's St John Hotel and Restaurant, Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen, Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa, Jason Atherton's Pollen Street Social, and Marcus Wareing's brasserie at the St Pancras Renaissance hotel are all in the works or recently opened as well.
