Bon Appétit Gets a New Publisher: Pamela Drucker Mann

Condé Nast announced some changes today: Paul Jowdy, Vice President and Publisher of Bon Appétit since January 2006 has been named Vice President and Publisher of Details, and Pamela Drucker Mann is stepping in to replace him at Bon App. Drucker Mann was most recently Associate Publisher, Advertising for Glamour. The appointments are effective immediately. Here's the full press release:

CONDÉ NAST NAMES NEW PUBLISHERS AT BON APPÉTIT AND DETAILS

New York, NY, January 13, 2011 – Paul Jowdy has been named Vice President and Publisher of Details, and Pamela Drucker Mann has been named Vice President and Publisher of Bon Appétit, it was announced today by William Wackermann, Executive Vice President, Publishing Director of Bon Appétit, Details, Glamour, the Gourmet brand and W. The appointments are effective immediately, with both publishers continuing to report to Mr. Wackermann in their new positions.

“Details is on solid ground, enjoying both circulation and ad revenue growth, and as we build the brand for 2011, I’m pleased to have a seasoned publisher like Paul to lead the team,” said Mr. Wackermann. “Paul is smart and driven and was a natural choice due to his varied experiences at multiple Condé Nast brands.”

Mr. Jowdy joined Bon Appétit as Vice President and Publisher in January 2006 and under his leadership, the epicurean magazine has grown into a powerful lifestyle brand. The advertising and sponsorship programs he developed – including The Bon Appétit Café and Vegas Uncork’d by Bon Appétit – have become signature programs for the brand. Mr. Jowdy has spent 14 years at Condé Nast holding senior positions at Condé Nast Traveler, Details and Vanity Fair.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working along side Pam at Glamour for over five years,” said Mr. Wackermann. “She brings a fresh and results-oriented approach to business and has a proven track record of success. Ms. Drucker Mann, most recently Associate Publisher, Advertising for Glamour, joined the magazine in 2006 as beauty director. She was promoted to Ad Manager and then Advertising Director, earning Condé Nast‘s Salesperson of the Year Award in 2007. Ms. Drucker Mann joined Condé Nast in 2005 as beauty director for Jane.
