Like a group of boy scouts on a camping trip, David Chang, René Redzepi (who seems a bit more at home than the others), Daniel Patterson and other internationally renowned chefs tromped off into the woods to find their supper during the Cook it Raw event in Finland. Collecting moss, lichen, berries, and mushrooms, the chefs were invited to share their ideas. Chang considers fried lichen, while Patterson discusses the pasta-like quality of certain fungi. Luckily for us, the excursion was caught on video.
