SF McDonald's Homeless Controversy

sf-homeless-macdo.jpgThe owner of a McDonald's in San Francisco has decided to stop offering a dollar menu, and some think it's a ploy to get rid of the homeless people who congregate outside of the restaurant. The McDouble, which at $.99 used to be an accessible meal, now costs $1.49 and is out of reach for the neighborhood's homeless. The owner says it was simply a business decision. [SF Gate]
