Louisiana chef John Folse made the world's largest bowl of macaroni and cheese in a 215 year old sugar kettle yesterday. 660 pounds of macaroni, close to 300 pounds of cheese, and over a thousand pounds of milk went into the kettle along with seasonings and butter; the grand total was 2,100 pounds, which absolutely walloped the previous record of 400 pounds. Said Folse, "We do things the way we do in Louisiana, we just went about a ton, what the heck."
