Curious Logic

In a clickbaity post titled "Why I Hate Molecular Gastronomy" over at Epicurious — hate is a very strong word! — the author doesn't have a problem with things like alginates, circulators, or liquid nitrogen "if it makes food taste better." But, "The problem is, in my experience, it doesn't." However, she admits to a profound lack of exposure to the cuisine: "The truth is, I haven't eaten at the temples of the avant-garde--Alinea, El Bulli, The Fat Duck or wd-50." [Epi-log]
