KFC's Colonel Sanders to Appear in a Video Game

Uh, what? Since this year is the 40th anniversary of KFC in Japan, the company is celebrating by "loaning" the likeness of founder and once omnipresent spokesperson Colonel Sanders to Sega for an upcoming game called Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity. Apparently he'll be a "partner character," meaning he won't be controllable and instead will fight alongside you, thwacking fireballs out of his cane? Japan only so far it seems, but perhaps it will come stateside to introduce him to American teenagers who have no clue who he is. See more images at Famitsu. Stop it, KFC.
