Mario Batali read three food-themed picture books to a bunch of kids at his local library recently, and one of them was Dr. Seuss' classic Green Eggs and Ham. Batali's got quite the rapport with the youngsters, interjecting questions and comments into the story, and summing up the moral at the end: "Every now and then, you might find something that looks a little suspicious or a little green, and yet in fact if you try it, it will be absolutely delicious." He also made miniature, kid-friendly cookbooks with them.
