The BBC has discovered those wine vending machines in Pennsylvania, and has video of people using them. The piece oddly calls Pennsylvania out for not providing human sommelier assistance: "There is no sommelier on hand to talk tannins and bouquets, but in a country where convenience has always been a best seller, the machines makers hope to open another hundred by autumn." There is information provided for all of the bottles, which strikes us as sufficient for a machine that sells you booze, but we are convenience-hungry Americans, so what do we know?
