Seems that some coffee shops are banning e-readers due to their physical similarity to computers, regardless of the fact that they would presumably allow you to read the same book on paper. Writes The New York Times' Bits blog: "I wonder if people went through the same thing in the mid-1400s as they sat in coffee shops with their pesky paper books?" [NYT]
