Yesterday LA Weekly food critic Jonathan Gold wrote about a hamburger at LA's Burger Kitchen that's "the only place this side of Chicago where you can taste La Frieda's [sic] Black Label blend."
Today Mark Pastore of Pat LaFrieda Meats emailed Eater to make it clear that no one except for Minetta Tavern in New York City has the Black Label blend. No one.
He writes: "There is NO I repeat NO black label on the west coast or anywhere else except Minetta Tavern for the 100th time !!! There will never be !! That is a fact."
