Tonight's episode of No Reservations does not follow the usual mold of travel, eat, witticism. Instead, it's an hour-long distillation of the unreleased documentary Out of the Pan into the Fire by Dmitri Kasterine, which was filmed after Kitchen Confidential was published but before Anthony Bourdain became a huge star. As No Reservations executive producer Chris Collins says, the Bourdain you'll see on this show is not just younger, he's someone whose "very definition of himself [had been] irrevocably changed."
