In the June issue of Vogue, author Jeffrey Steingarten profiles actress and GOOP owner Gwyneth Paltrow, whose new cookbook, My Father's Daughter, comes out in April (the online version is just a preview). The cookbook contains American comfort food, like french fries, pizza and corn chowder, and a more relaxed outlook that you might expect from someone who used to be on a macrobiotic diet and ended up with a severe Vitamin D deficiency: "Drink while you cook. Make it fun. It doesn't have to be complicated. It will be what it will be." [Vogue]
