After martyrdom comes t-shirts, and this was pretty fast: "Free Kobi" shirts are now for sale. The shirts are replicas of the one worn by competitive eater Takeru Kobayashi when he stormed the stage at Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest last weekend to protest a contract dispute that prohibited him from competing. At $18 a pop, you'd think the funds would in some way go to making Kobayashi more "free" (paying legal bills, perhaps?) but it does not appear to be the case.
